Whilst the 2015 merger of Ladbrokes and Coral officially makes that compound the UK’s biggest bookmaker, the fact that they maintain 2 separate brands disqualifies that claim in my opinion. William Hill is still the number 1. They have a user friendly, modern site, allow huge stakes and have a better than most tolerance to successful punters. The downside to such success is that they are able to set odds that may not be the most competitive (why compete when you have such a large customer base?).

For 2 bets per day, one for an accumulator (max £20) and one for a horse racing bet (up to £40 single or £20 e/w) have your bet ‘boosted’ by clicking the ‘boost’ button on your bet slip.
Pretty much my favourite offer of any UK bookmaker (along with Ladbrokes which has something similar). This turns pretty much any bet from an average bet into a value bet and can ensure that you can place a great bet every day of the year…it doesnt get much better than this. They also offer boosts across the live ITV racing card for horse races on a Saturday.
Tune in every day at 12.00 pm for boosted odds on a horse. Maximum bet limit applies (usually £10 or £20)
A great and unique offer. These bets are always good, always worth taking, you just need to set your alarm for 12.00 pm each day to catch that great value bet on a horse!
Best Odds Guaranteed
Take an Early Price (EP) or Board Price and if the Starting Price (SP) is bigger they will pay you at the bigger price. Applies to UK and Irish Horse races.
If you take a price that subsequently drifts in the market but goes on to win, you will get paid at that higher price. This offer is standard among mainstream bookmakers and I would go so far as to say that if it is not offered then you should place your racing bets elsewhere.
Place an acca with 5 legs or more on various markets and they will refund losing bets where only one leg lets you down, up to a maximum of £/€20 as a free bet. Available for 1 acca per day and bonus funds will expire if not used within 7 days.
There is a huge range of sports and markets to place your acca on, far too many to list here. Please see https://promotions.williamhill.com/offer/acca-five-2017-2018
This used to be a bit better. The acca only had to have 4 legs and the max free bet was £50. Saying that, the range of football leagues has been expanded and the fact that sports other than football are allowed makes it one of the best acca insurance offers around.
